When it comes to first thinking about your buil

When it comes to first thinking about your build or renovation, it can be a little overwhelming, and that's why we always say "create a moodboard" - or a place where all of your inspirational images can come together in one place for you to easily see.

To help you sort it out, we have some tips for you:

📌 START! Look for images (eg: online or physical ones from a magazine etc) and collect the ones that you love. Put them all in one central place - like a scrapbook, Powerpoint document or Pinterest board.

📌 REVIEW! Now that you have all of your images, start looking for themes such as colour, texture, patterns or looks.

📌 CULL CULL CULL! This might be a little hard if you have collected loads of images, but it's important to narrow them down to the ones you like the most. Let's say 10-20.

📌 MAKES NOTES! You have your favourite sorted, so make a note for each one about what you love, eg: the stone, the cupboards, the chairs, the table - you get the idea.

📌 ASSESS! Now that you have them sorted, take a step back and look at them objectively. Do they work together? Are they cohesive? Do they suit the style of your home if you are renovating? Do they suit the style of your new home if you have a new build?

After all of that - do you still need some help???

If you're not sure if it all works together, then this is the time to get help from a professional. Have them give it the once over to help refine and nail "your look". Don't be afraid to ask us too ok?

We have seen a big resurgence in the mirrored kicker (kickboards/kickplates) trend 🔥🔥

Not just designed for shoe lovers... installing a mirrored kicker can really zhuzh up your kitchen BUT it also reflects your floorboards which gives the appearance of being larger and floating.

We also love that you can play around with different colour and finishes of the mirror too!
